CITY OF LAKE ELMO otuwt �vI i STATE OF lII II E: !I RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PIT LICATION OF ORDINANCE -227 BY TITLE AND SUMMARY WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 08- 27, an ordinance attending Section 154.406 as it pertains to accessory structure size limitations within the City; and WHEREAS, the ordinance contains a chart; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, section 412.19 1, s bd. 4, allows publication by title and summary in the case of lengthy ordinances or these containing charts or maps; and WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the following s rmilmy would clearly inform the public of the intent and effect: of the ordinance: THEREFORE, City Clerk shall cause the following suim-naty of Ordinance No. 08-227 to be published in the official newspaper in lieu of the entire ordinance - Public Notice The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. 0-227 which amends the language in Section 154.406 as it applies to Accessary Structures within the Rural Residential zoning district within. the City of Lake Elmo. - Properties of l acre in size or less are allowed one 1,200 si ft. accessory structure and the square footage is no longer required to be shared with the attached garage, if present. - Properties of 1-2 acres received an increase of square footage of 1,200 sqft. to 1,500 sqft. and properties oft-5 acres received and increase from 1,300 sift. to 1,750 sqft. The full text of Ordinance No. 08-227 is available for inspection at Lake Elmo city hall during regular business hours. BE IT FURTHER RESOL by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo that the City Administrator keep a copy of the ordinance at City Hall for public inspection and that a fall copy of the ordinance be placed. in a public location within the City.
