LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />August 4, 2020 <br />ITEM 13: Easton Village Park Naming <br />City Planner Prchal presented the names submitted by the public and reviewed by the Parks <br />Commission for the new park in Easton Village. <br />Councilmember McGinn, seconded by Councilmember Nelson, moved TO APPROVE <br />"RUNWAYPARK"AS THE NAME FOR THE PARKIN EASTON VILLAGE. <br />Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmemberporschner, moved TOAMEND THEPRIMARY <br />MOTION TO APPROVE "PILOT PARK" AS THE NAME FOR THE PARK IN EASTON <br />VILLAGE. Motion passed 4-0. <br />Primary motion passed 4 — 0. <br />ITEM 14: Inwood Park Naming <br />City Planner Prchal presented the names submitted by the public and reviewed by the Parks <br />Commission for the new park in the Inwood development. <br />Councilmember Nelson, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO APPROVE <br />IVYWOOD AS THE NAME FOR THE PARK IN INWOOD. Motion passed 4-0. <br />ITEM 15: Zoning Text Amendment — Fence Ordinance Update <br />City Planner Prchal presented suggested updates to the City's fence ordinance to address height <br />requirements. <br />Councilmember Nelson, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO ADOPT <br />ORDINANCE 08-239 AS IT PERTAINS TO THE MAXIMUM HEIGHT REQUIREMENT <br />FOR FENCING ON CORNER LOTS AND NEIGHBORINGAPPROVAL. Motion passed 4 <br />—0. <br />Mayor Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Dorschner, moved TO ADOPT RESOLUTION <br />2020-077AUTHORIZIIVGSUMMARYPUBLICATIONOFORDINANCE 08-239.
