CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />COUNTY OF WASHINGTON <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 08-078 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE <br />LAKE ELMO CITY CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES BY ADOPTING <br />NEW OFF-STREET PARKING AND <br />LOADING REGULATIONS FOR <br />ALL USE CLASSIFICATIONS IN <br />THE LAKE ELMO ZONING CODE <br />Section 1. Ordinance 08-078 The <br />City Council of the City of Lake <br />Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. <br />08-078, which replaces the current <br />sections of the City Code <br />pertaining to Off -Street Parking <br />and Loading. The revised <br />ordinance includes the following <br />revisions from the previous <br />ordinance: <br />• The inclusion of new parking <br />standards related to location, <br />design and maintenance of <br />parking areas; <br />• The incorporation of new <br />dimensional standards for <br />different parking types or <br />designs; <br />• Establishment of required <br />parking quantities for all use <br />classifications in the Lake Elmo <br />Zoning Code; and <br />• Establishment of a required <br />number of loading births per the <br />square footage of a facility. <br />The full text of Ordinance No. 08- <br />078 is available for inspection at <br />Lake Elmo city hall during regular <br />business hours. <br />Section 2• Effective Date: This <br />ordinance becomes effective after <br />the date of its summary publication. <br />ADOPTION DATE: Adopted by <br />Lake Elmo City Council on the <br />seventh day of May 2013. <br />Ayes: 5 <br />Nays: 0 <br />/s/Mike Pearson, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />/s/Adam Bell, City Clerk <br />(Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review: June <br />5, 2013) <br />
