CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />COUNTY OF WASHINGTON <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 08-088 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />THE ANIMALS CHAPTER <br />OF THE GENERAL <br />REGULATIONS OF THE <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO. <br />Section 1: Ordinance 08-088 The <br />City Council of the City of Lake <br />Elmo has adopted Ordinance No. <br />08-088, which replaces the current <br />sections of the City Code <br />pertairiing` � t6 '' Anitnaf's. The <br />ordinance includes the, following <br />provisions. <br />• The ordinance regulates dog <br />and cat ownership and care in the <br />City of Lake Elmo <br />The ordinance regulates licensing <br />of dogs in the City of Lake Elmo <br />• The ordinance prohibits <br />unreasonable disturbances by <br />animals in the City of Lake Elmo <br />- The ordinance adds a section on <br />Requirements for Horse -Drawn <br />Vehicles to the Horses Article. <br />The r,ordinance adds an <br />Exceptions section to the <br />Dangerous Animals Article. <br />The full text of Ordinance No. 08- <br />088 is available for inspection at <br />Lake Elmo city hall during regular <br />business hours. <br />Section 2: Effective Date: This <br />ordinance shall become effective <br />immediately upon adoption and <br />publication. <br />ADOPTION DATE: Passed by the <br />Lake Elmo City Council on the 15th <br />day of October, 2013. <br />Ayes: 4 <br />Nays: 1, Bloyer <br />/s/ Mike Pearson, Mayor <br />Attest: /s/ Adam Bell, City Clerk <br />(Oakdale -Lake Elmo: Oct. 23, 2013) <br />
