W WA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013-12 <br />A RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR OLSON <br />LAKE TRAIL SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION AND CALLING <br />HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City Council authorization, adopted on April 3, 2012, a feasibility <br />report has been prepared by FOCUS Engineering, Inc. for the extension of sanitary sewer along <br />Olson Lake Trail from an existing Oakdale lift station and extending approximately 550 feet <br />north to the north property line of 4678 Olson Lake Trail; and this report was received by the <br />council on February 19, 2013; and, <br />WHEREAS, the feasibility report provides information regardmig whether the proposed <br />improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether it should best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvements <br />as recommended-. <br />for affected parcels. <br />1. That the City Council will consider the improvements in accordance with the report and <br />the assessments of the abutting properties for all or a portion of the cost of the <br />improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statues, Chapter 429 at an estimated total project <br />cost of S128,000. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 19th day of March, <br />2013, in the council chambers of the City Hall at or approximately after 7:00 P.M. and <br />the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as <br />required by law. <br />ADOPTED BY THE LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL ON THE NINETEENTH DAY OF <br />FEBRUARY 2013. <br />CITY OF �A _.��EELM <br />Mike Pearson <br />Mayor <br />Resolution No. 2013-12 <br />
