LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />March 1, 2022 <br />Councilmember Dorschner, seconded by Councilmember Holtz, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 4 - 0. <br />ITEM 9: Approve Plans and Specifications and Order Ad for Bids for 2022 Street and Utility <br />Improvements <br />City Engineer Griffin reviewed the project and projected assessment amounts, noting proposed <br />parking restrictions. Discussion was held concerning curb changes and Engineer Griffin <br />indicated he would get information on costs for alternate curb plans. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO APPROVE <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2022-023, APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND <br />ORDERING THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR THE 2022 STREET AND UTILITY <br />IMPROVEMENTS. Motion passed 4 — 0. <br />ITEM 10: 2022-2024 EDA Work Plan <br />Administrator Handt provided a brief overview of the items in workplan. Discussion was held <br />concerning staff time required to assist the EDA during the duration of the workplan. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO APPROVE THE 2022- <br />2024 LAKE ELMO EDA WORK PLAN. Motion passed 4 — 0. <br />Councilmember Dorschner: <br />Councilmember McGinn: Thanked Senator Housley, City Administrator Handt and those who <br />testified at the hearing regarding water supply legislation. <br />Councilmember Holtz: Also thanked those who supported the water supply legislation and <br />provided an update on the Airport Committee. <br />STAFF REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Administrator Handt: Reported on Senate hearing on SF 3055 regarding water supply issues. <br />City Attorney Sonsalla: Working on closing documents for the water tower property and <br />Applewood Pointe Development Agreement. <br />City Engineer Griffin: Reported on an upcoming neighborhood meeting with the Parkview <br />neighborhood. <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:27 pm. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
