CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />MARCH 8, 2022 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Cadenhead, Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom, Dale Dorschner, Jeff Holtz <br />and Lisa McGinn. <br />Staff present: City Administrator Handt, Assistant Administrator Dickson, Finance Director <br />Magureanu, Planning Director Just and City Clerk Johnson. <br />Washington County -Manning Ave and 30111 St. Stoplight <br />Eden Rogers, Washington County, presented the project details and city cost participation <br />estimates. Rogers also requested a resolution of support from the City Council. <br />Interviews for Admin and Finance Audit <br />Clifton Larson Allen LLP and Matrix Consulting Group presented their proposals and answered <br />questions. <br />Time Capsule Project <br />City Administrator Handt proposed a time capsule event sponsored by the city in conjunction <br />with the new city center project. Discussion was held concerning items to include and potential <br />timeline. <br />Water Supply Concerns and Possible Responses <br />Planning Director Just reviewed the low pressure area associated with the City's water tower #3 <br />that will is expected to be operational in September 2023. Just presented options for addressing <br />demand for new development in the low pressure area prior to the new well becoming <br />operational and resolution of the White Bear Lake water issue. <br />Items for Future Agenda <br />Councilmember McGinn requested a discussion of availability for City Council or staff to use <br />technology to attend meetings remotely. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:05 p.m. <br />
