CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />APRIL 19, 2022 <br />CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />-Mayor Cadenhead called the meeting to order at 7 00 pm. - <br />PRESENT: Mayor Charles Cadenhead and Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom, Dale Dorschner, <br />Jeff Holtz and Lisa McGinn. <br />Staff present: Administrator Handt, City Attorney Sonsalla, City Engineer Griffin, Planning <br />Director Just, City Planner Hetzel, Fire Chief Kalis, and Finance Director Magureanu <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Councilmember Dorschner, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />AGENDA AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 5 — 0. <br />ACCEPT MINUTES <br />Councilmember McGinn, seconded by Councilmember Holtz, moved TO ACCEPT THE <br />MINUTES OF THE APRIL 5, 2022 CITY COUNCIL MEETING AND APRIL 12, 2022 CITY <br />COUNCIL WORKSHOPAS PRESENTED. Motion passed 5 — 0. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS/INQUIRIES <br />Daren Cotter, 9360 Whistling Valley Trail - does not oppose the water project, but has concerns <br />with the current plan existing for phase three. There is no consensus among the homeowners for <br />connection/non-connection. Plead to the City Council to run pipes to each home instead of the <br />current plan or work together to figure out another solution. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />CJ Schmitz, Chapter President with the Lake Elmo Jaycees, and Emily Goldhammer, Charitable <br />Gambling Manager, presented the City Council with a $12,000 donation from the Jaycees <br />gambling proceeds. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />2. Approve Payment of Disbursements and Payroll <br />s. Accept Donation from the Lake Elmo Jaycees —Resolution 2022-037 <br />a. Approve Spring/Summer 2022 Newsletter <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Beckstrom, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 5 -0. <br />
