LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />September 6, 2022 <br />ITEM 8: Authorize Preparation of Feasibility Report for the 2023 Street and Utility <br />Improvements <br />City Engineer Griffin presented an overview of the project and proposed timeline. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember McGinn, moved TO APPROVE <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2022- 080, ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPOR T <br />TO BE COMPLETED BY FOCUS ENGINEERING IN THE NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT <br />OF $14,800 FOR THE 2023 STREET IMPROVEMENTS. Motion passed 4 — 0. <br />ITEM 9: Authorize Preparation of Feasibility Report for the Old Village Phase 7 Street and <br />Utility Improvements <br />City Engineer Griffin presented an overview of the project and proposed timeline. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Dorschner, moved TO APPROVE <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2022-081, ORDERING PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT <br />TO BE COMPLETED B Y FOCUS ENGINEERING IN THE NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT <br />OF $8, 600 FOR THE OLD VILLAGE PHASE 7 STREET AND UTILITY <br />IMPROVEMENTS. Motion passed 4 — 0. <br />ITEM 10: Ivywood Circle No Parking Sign Request <br />City Planner Hetzel presented the resident request to restrict parking on Ivywood Circle N. due <br />to parking demands near the pickleball courts. <br />Mike Kaup, 840 Ivywood Circle N., commented on the parking situation, stating that he is in <br />favor of no parking only across from the pickleball courts. <br />Tony Bonfe, 746 Ivywood Circle N., stated that issues occur when cars are parked on both sides <br />of the street and added he is in favor of no parking only across from the pickleball courts. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Acting Mayor McGinn, moved TO TABLE THE <br />CURRENT ITEMAND REFER IT TO THE PARKS COMMISSION FOR FURTHER <br />ANALYSIS. Motion passed 4 — 0. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS <br />Councilmember Holtz: Wished teachers good luck on the first day of school. <br />STAFF REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />City Engineer Griffin: Provided an update on 2022 trail projects and water connection <br />availability in the Torre Pines neighborhood. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
