LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />December 6, 2022 <br />City Administrator Handt presented proposed updates to the City's Compensation Policy and <br />proposed implementation for 2023. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Beckstrom, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />COMPENSATIONPOLICYAS DRAFTED AND TO APPROVE THE IMPLEMENTATION <br />OF THE NEW PAYPLAN AS DESCRIBED IN THE CITYADMINISTRA TOR IS REPORT. <br />Motion passed 5 — 0. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS <br />Mayor Cadenhead: Commended the Connect Lake Elmo group for organizing a successful Light <br />up Lake Elmo event and noted that the Met Council has vacancies on committees. <br />Councilmember Holtz: Reported on 3M settlement group and noted that MPCA is testing <br />equipment at Tablyn Park to remove PFAS from water. <br />Councilmember McGinn: Reported that Inwood neighborhood saved $14,000 last summer <br />through stormwater reuse. <br />STAFF REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />Administrator Handt: Noted the city is accepting applications for Parks and Planning <br />Commissioners and EDA. <br />Meeting adjourned at 10:20 pm. <br />ATTEST: <br />ul' Johnson, C' Clerk <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL <br />harles Cadenhead, May <br />Page 5 of 5 <br />
