<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />SALARY: OPENING DATE: CLOSING DATE: <br />Accepting Applications for the Position of: <br />Public Works Seasonal Employee $16.00/hour starting pay (DOQ) 2/8/2023 Until filled <br /> <br />Summary Assists full-time staff with performing maintenance duties related to streets, parks, utilities and buildings <br />Position Title: Public Works Seasonal, Part-Time Department: Public Works Reports To: Public Works Director (or designee) FLSA Status: Non-exempt Normal Shift: 7:00am – 4:30pm M-Th; 7:00am – 11:00am F <br />Minimum Requirements <br />The responsibilities listed here are illustrative of the expectations of the position, and not intended to be all inclusive or exclusive. Essential Duties & Responsibilities <br />• Assist with general maintenance of the following: <br />o Streets, sidewalks and trails, including patching, seal-coating, curb and catch basing repairs. <br />o Parks and city owned properties, including mowing, trimming, landscaping, planting and watering of trees and plants, and emptying waste and recycling containers. <br />o Athletic fields, courts and playground structures o Buildings, including City Hall, Fire Stations, Public Works and park shelters o Performs other duties as may be assigned. <br />Criteria to Qualify for this position: <br />• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age. <br />• Must have a valid driver’s license.
