CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 5, 2023 <br />CALL TO ORDER/PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />Mayor Cadenhead called the meeting to order at 7. 00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Charles Cadenhead and Councilmembers Matt Hirn and Jeff Holtz. <br />ABSENT: Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom and Lisa McGinn. <br />Staff present: Administrative Services Director Goers, City Attorney Sonsalla, City Engineer <br />Isakson, Assistant Public Works Director Swanepoel, Fire Chief Kalis and City Clerk Johnson. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Mayor Cadenhead, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO MOVE ITEM 7, "APPROVE <br />DRA W ON LENNAR LETTER OF CREDIT FOR THE SA VONA 3RD AND 4TH ADDITION" <br />TO THE SEPTEMBER 19TH COUNCIL AGENDA. Motion passed 3-0. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />AGENDA AS AMENDED. Motion passed 3 — 0. <br />ACCEPT MINUTES <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO ACCEPT THE <br />MINUTES OF THE A UGUST 15 AND A UGUST 29, 2023 CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS AS <br />PRESENTED. Motion passed 3 — 0. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTSANQUIRIES <br />Reggie Kopesky, Lower St. Croix Valley Yellow Ribbon, invited the community to attend the <br />Field of Bands fundraiser at the Washington County Fairgrounds on September 16, 2023. <br />Paul Fitzpatrick, 11066 39th St. Unit A, commented on pedestrian safety when crossing streets <br />near his home and asked for sidewalk completion on the county roads along with crosswalk <br />improvements. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />None <br />
