<br /> <br />Training <br />Lake Elmo Firefighters participate in regularly scheduled training events, typically on Monday evenings. <br />Training topics are based on the Minnesota Board of Fire Training and Education standards. All firefighters, <br />regardless of career or paid on call, are held to the same standards. <br /> <br /> <br />417 2863 70 <br />Training Hours Personnel Hours Scheduled Drills <br /> <br /> <br />Within the scope of training, your fire department participated in quarterly Emergency Medical certification <br />training. These classes are supported in house by two Regions Hospital EMS Education certified fire <br />department staff. <br /> <br />Additionally, we sent five new recruits to the Ramsey County Fire Academy. These recruits were successful in <br />completing all the necessary training and certifications to become licensed firefighters.
