PARKS COMMISSION MEETING NOTICEPARKS COMMISSION MEETING NOTICE <br />DATE: Monday, July 18, 2022 <br />TIME: 6:30 PM <br />PLACE: Lake Elmo City Hall <br /> 3800 Laverne Avenue North <br /> Lake Elmo MN 55042 <br /> Phone: 651-747-3900 <br /> <br />PURPOSE: The Lake Elmo Parks Commission would like to invite the residents of Lake <br />Elmo to the upcoming Parks Commission meeting. The purpose of your resident <br />attendance is to provide the Parks Commission with valuable feedback regarding future <br />improvements of Tablyn Park and Demontreville Park. <br /> <br />If you wish to be heard and are unable to attend the meeting, please submit written or <br />electronic comments before the meeting. Written feedback may be submitted to the city <br />by mail no later than 5:00 p.m. the Wednesday before the meeting or emailed to Ben <br />Hetzel no later than noon on the day of the meeting. <br />Ben Hetzel, Lake Elmo City Planner <br />Email: bhetzel@lakeelmo.org <br />Phone: 651-747-3911 <br />Hwy 36 head-to-head traffic <br />begins July 11 <br />Beginning Mon, July 11, Hwy 36 will be reduced to one lane in <br />both directions between I-694 and Stillwater Blvd. through <br />August. The lane closures are necessary for crews to complete <br />the road resurfacing work. No access to/from Hwy 36 will be <br />available at Keats Ave., Lake Elmo Ave. and some ramps in this area. Please use alternate routes. <br />Residents in the area should be aware that crews will be working 24-hours a day during the <br />weekend and may experience some noise, lights, and vibrations. <br />MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones <br />where workers are present. Please follow the posted detour route and avoid traveling through <br />residential neighborhoods for the safety of those that live in the area. <br />All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. <br />For more information on the Highway 36 Project click here: MNDOT <br />2022 Seal Coating is scheduled to begin Monday, July 18th, <br />weather permitting. This year we are tackling more than 30 miles <br />of city streets in our annual maintenance program. If you live <br />along one of the pink highlighted streets below you will be <br />receiving mailed notification about parking and irrigation <br />restrictions and the plan to sweep excess aggregate along with <br />more details on the project.
