2 <br />LA515\1\931888.v2 <br />•Residents would no longer be able to voice their concerns regarding new developments that <br />affect their property and neighborhood during public comment periods of city council or other <br />public hearings. <br />•Emergency medical services and fire departments’ access to homes will be restricted if multiple <br />units are on a lot that was originally designed for one home without adequate spacing, setbacks, <br />or access to dwelling units. <br />•Many cities lack the equipment and infrastructure to support tall multifamily developments in <br />areas that were not planned for building of that size and scale.
