1IE ("t'ry OF STAFF REPORT <br />LAKE ELMO DATE: 4/ 16/2024 <br />MOTION <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM: Sophia Jensen, City Planner <br />AGENDA ITEM: Variances and Lot Division —10997 32nd Street North <br />INTRODUCTION: <br />David Schomokel and Sarah Johnson (the `Applicants') have submitted a variance and lot <br />division application for the property located at 10997 32" d Street North (the `Property'). The <br />property was originally platted as lot 9 and lot 10 of Lake Elmo Park in 1911 and was <br />consolidated into one lot by prior owners. The property is currently under split ownership with <br />two primary dwellings and separate utility stubs (sewer and water). The applicants are looking to <br />split the property back to Lot 9 and Lot 10 for ownership purposes.
