This was the only groundwater observed in th <br />building addition areas. Groundwater Was also observed during drilling in Boring B-2, at a dep <br />I t 0 <br />a <br />r - '7 a <br />of the site. We caution that groundwater levels can fluctuate due to Varying seasonal and annua. <br />rainfall and show melt amounts, as well as other environmental factors. Additionally, region <br />a. <br />groundwater levels can change due to construction events such as alterations in ground covei <br />surface water runoff control, and dewatering systems. <br />6.0 RECOMMENDATIONS <br />slabs should be placed on clean, free -draining coarse granular material to provide a unifor <br />Working area for construction and to protect the underlying moisture -Sensitive glacial tills fro <br />disturbance. Design and construction considerations Will also be needed to preverit damage <br />surface structures due to seasonal frost -heave displacement in fine-grained soils near t <br />ground surface. <br />
