CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br />HUDSON BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS – SEGMENT A <br /> <br />Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Lake Elmo will conduct a public hearing <br />on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at or approximately after 7:00 PM to consider the making of <br />the following improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to <br />429.111: <br /> <br />The project includes pavement rehabilitation of Hudon Boulevard North, from Inwood <br />Avenue (CSAH 13) to approximately 1,400 feet east of Jade Trail, including <br />approximately 4,340 feet (0.82 miles) of collector roadway, and consisting of a Full <br />Depth Reclamation (FDR), drainage improvements, and urbanizing the north side of <br />Hudson Boulevard with a new bituminous trail. From Jade Trail to the east property line <br />of 9242 Hudson Boulevard, the roadway will be widened to accommodate a 3-lane <br />section with a two-way continuous turn lane to accommodate the existing commercial <br />driveway access spacing. <br /> <br />The area proposed to be assessed for the street improvements include the 10 commercial <br />properties with direct driveway access to Hudon Boulevard North, from Inwood Avenue <br />(CSAH 13) to approximately 1,400 feet east of Jade Trail. The estimated total cost for the <br />project is $2,580,000. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be <br />available at the hearing.
