Lake Elmo Parks System Plan
74 / 79
18 Now that I am retired from corporate life, I would like to get involved in helping to create,
maintain, and promote community parks.
1/12/2024 1:35 PM
19 With the Royal golf course closing to the public, there’s no longer a golf course or driving range
in Lk Elmo
1/12/2024 1:03 PM
20 Removal of fields at tartan park have not been replaced in the area.1/12/2024 12:44 PM
21 Have an established policy that requires park/public use land ratios to be set aside when future
land is developed for residential or commercial use.
1/12/2024 11:22 AM
22 We appreciate all that lake Elmo does for our baseball teams. Thank you 1/12/2024 10:29 AM
23 The Pony Activity Center at the Stillwater high school does not serve our needs.1/12/2024 10:07 AM
24 Need more baseball fields to accommodate all the LE teams.1/12/2024 9:20 A M
25 no 1/11/2024 9:10 PM
26 Lake Elmo baseball is extremely important to a lot of families and we need more fields to
accommodate the program
1/11/2024 5:55 PM
27 We moved to Lake Elmo specifically because it feels like a natural oasis- far enough away-
close enough to commute- and ample peaceful outdoor space to connect with nature and
ourselves. I truly hope that continues to be a priority for future plan ning so many more
generations can appreciate its beauty.
1/11/2024 1:10 PM
28 Baseball fields. We've been to many other city baseball facilities with varying levels of
amenities and space but Lake Elmo is at the bottom in comparison. Lions and VFW are okay
but there should be additional fields added to that space and improvements made to the
infrastructure to support a robust participation effort for Lak e Elmo baseball.
1/11/2024 9:37 AM
29 Would use the parks much more often if there were more paths to them and between them 1/11/2024 9:34 AM
30 Safe sidewalks For kids/ runners / bikers would do wonders for the community!1/11/2024 9:29 AM
31 Recent clearing around Demontreville Wildlife Park has radically changed the look, feel, and
experience of walking those trails, in a very negative way. It feels very open, unnatural, and
ugly. It is a real shame.
1/10/2024 8:31 PM
32 There needs to be more dedicated Pickleball courts to meet the demand that continues to grow
in the school district. I love Lake Elmo, it's restaurants, and other small businesses.
1/10/2024 8:14 PM
33 Thanks for providing the new courts at Tablyn and pebble! They will be appreciated.1/10/2024 7:57 PM
34 There needs to be a pedestrian/bike safe path along and across HWY 14 to downdown.1/10/2024 7:37 PM
35 We lost baseball fields years back due to development. It’s about time we give the kids the
fields they deserve. Please!
1/10/2024 7:34 PM
36 Would love to see a splash pad.1/10/2024 7:15 PM
37 Community center?1/10/2024 6:45 PM
38 Bathrooms (other than porta potties) and access to drinking water would be so awesome at at
least one of these locations.
1/10/2024 6:17 PM
39 There is probably 100 people daily who walk Demontreville Trail. It’s a shame there is no
walking path and that the 7 homeowners that live across the street from the lake were able to
shoot down a wonderful opportunity for our community. So many people use this stretch to get
down to the boat landing at the lake or walk or bike ride up to Demontreville Park. My kids and
my self have almost been hit by cars. What an amazing thing that would be for our area!
1/10/2024 5:58 PM
40 More flat areas for kids to do soccer lessons.1/10/2024 5:25 PM
41 I would like to see additional baseball fields made available to the community and Lake Elmo's
baseball teams.
1/10/2024 4:38 PM
42 I would like to see more baseball fields/complexes in Lake Elmo to allow for the growth of the
sport and the ability to host tournaments which in turn would boost the economy in Lake Elmo.
1/10/2024 4:14 PM
43 Thank you for all of your hard work!1/10/2024 3:32 PM
190
