STAFF REPORT <br />DATE: August 7, 2024 <br /> Consent <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: Donation to the Fire Department from Don Raleigh Memorial <br />TO: Mayor and City Council SUBMITTED BY: Julie Johnson, City Clerk REVIEWED BY: Dustin Kalis, Fire Chief <br />BACKGROUND: <br />State statute requires that cities accept donations via resolution. ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: Should Council accept the donation of $250.00? <br /> PROPOSAL: The Don Raleigh Memorial received a donation of $250.00 for the Lake Elmo Fire Department. Included in your packet for acceptance as part of the Consent Agenda is a resolution for the Council to officially accept the donation. <br /> FISCAL IMPACT: There is no impact to the 2024 budget as these funds were not anticipated. OPTIONS: <br />1) Approve Resolution No 2024-086 <br />2) Amend and then Approve Resolution No 2024-086 3) Do not accept the donation RECOMMENDATION: <br />Motion to approve Resolution 2024-086 <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Resolution 2024-086
