CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 13, 2024 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Cadenhead called the meeting to order at 7.20 pm. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Cadenhead, Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom, Matt Him, and Jeff Holtz <br />Planning Commissioners Present: Kyle Rizner, Thomas Rehkamp, Michelle Bohlig, Brian Steil, <br />Dennis Geffre and Micah Vrieze. <br />Staff present: Interim City Administrator Schroeder, Public Works Director Powers, Assistant <br />Public Works Director Swanepoel, City Planner Jensen and City Clerk Johnson. <br />Planning Commission Work Plan Review <br />City Planner Jensen reviewed the 2024 Planning Commission work plan discussion points. Sign <br />ordinance was discussed as it relates to square footage allowance especially in the I-94 corridor. <br />Discussion held regarding the OP-PUD ordinance with consensus to add it to the work plan. <br />Discussion was held regarding the frequency of joint workshops between the City Council and <br />the Planning Commission. Planning Commissioners indicated they would like to see more <br />frequent communication between the two bodies. <br />Old village planning was discussed with Interim Administrator noting options and issues present <br />in the old village area. <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:15 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Juli ty <br />nson, erk <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL <br />Charles Cadenhead, Mayor <br />
