Approve City Hall Room Use Policy <br />11. Approve 2024 Summer Newsletter <br />Councilmember Dragisich, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 4 - 0. <br />ITEM 12: Public Improvement Hearing: Order the Improvements, Accept Bids and Award <br />Contract for the Hudson Boulevard Segment A Improvements <br />City Engineer Griffin presented the scope of proposed improvements, preliminary assessment <br />roll, findings and recommendations. Engineer Griffin also reviewed the bids received for the <br />project. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO OPEN THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING. Motion passed 4 — 0. No public comments were received. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO CLOSE THE PUBLIC <br />HEARING. Motion passed 4 — 0. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Hirn, moved TO APPROVE <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2 024- 0 78, ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT, ACCEPTING BIDS <br />AND AWARDING A CONTRACT TO DRESEL CONTRACTING, INC. FOR THE BID <br />AMOUNT OF $2,075,003.37 FOR THE HUDSONBOULEVARD IMPROVEMENTS <br />SEGMENT A, FROM INWOOD A VENUE (CSAH 13) TO 1;400 FEET EAST OF JADE <br />TRAIL. Motion passed 4 — 0. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Dragisich, moved TO A UTHORIZE THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO ENTER INTO A CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT SERVICES <br />CONTRACT WITH ALJ IN THE AMO UNT NOT TO EXCEED $200, 000, AND A <br />MATERIAL TESTING CONTRACT IN THE NOT -TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $45,000 AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY STAFF FOR THE HUDSON B 0 ULE VARD IMPROVEMENTS, <br />SEGMENT A.
