Merchandise within the premises and visible from the exterior shall not <br />be considered a window sign under this definition; however, any signs that are placed on the backs of <br />shelving units or similar structures, or interior walls where the sif n is located less than seven feet <br />from the window's surface shall be considered a window sign. <br />c) Applicability. The sign ordinance codified in this section shall apply to any sign placed, erected, altered, <br />maintained, or relocated within the city that is plainly visible, although not necessarily legible, from any <br />vehicular or pedestrian public right-of-way or--any-lot in-ownership-separate€romA-fte-lotWeirwhieh-the <br />eig„r.zs-located.
