CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />AUGUST 14, 2024 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Cadenhead called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Cadenhead, Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom, Nick Dragisich, and Matt <br />Him. ABSENT: Councilmember Jeff Holtz <br />Staff present: City Administrator Miller, Administrative Services Director Goers, Contract Planner <br />Fuerst, Community Development Director Stolpa, City Planner Monterusso and Deputy Clerk <br />Schwemmer. <br />Limerick Village Concept Plan <br />Contract Planner Nathan Fuerst presented the Limerick Village Concept Plan updates. <br />Discussion was held regarding the reasoning for reduced ROW, pond and park placement, trail <br />connectivity, detached townhomes vs townhomes, and density requirements. <br />Applicant Mario Cucarella, Maplewood Development and Clark Wicklund, Civil Engineer with <br />Alliant addressed the decision for the fifty-three feet ROW, HOA management, detached <br />townhomes, and access points. <br />Village Area Study <br />Contract Planner Nathan Fuerst and Community Development Director Stopa presented the <br />Village Area Study results and proposed steps before lifting the moratorium. <br />Discussion was held and consensus was to follow the proposed steps before lifting the <br />moratorium and setting a lift date for September. <br />Items for Future Workshop Agenda <br />City Support for Community Events, Lake Elmo Avenue Gardens Discussion and Right of Way <br />Management are planned for future workshop agendas. <br />Meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />�o <br />Rebecca Schwemmer, Deputy Clerk <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL <br />Charles Cadenhead, Mayo <br />
