Lake Elmo Family Donates Land to
MN Land trust
Neil, Deb, and John Krueger grew up in Stillwater
and began planting Christmas trees on their Lake
Elmo farm in 1983, always dreaming of a way to
preserve their land forever. So in 2024 the
Krueger’s donated their land to the Mn. Land Trust,
ensuring it would remain a green space forever.
They also own an 18 acre tree farm, already in Mn.
Land Trust, on Manning Ave. by the airport.
Together there are 54 acres preserved forever. This
year the Krueger’s will celebrate 70 years of
Christmas trees in the St. Croix Valley.
