Create an interconnected network of open spaces and trails that provide connections between <br />urbanizing and rural areas of the community. <br />b. Continue to support open space developments in the rural residential areas that protect <br />important natural resources and provide connections to public parks, open spaces and trails. <br />c. Encourage development in the urbanizing areas to create their development plans using a <br />natural resources plan that considers an interconnected network of public parks, natural resources, <br />open spaces and trails. <br /> <br />Balanced Development, & Growth (BDG) BDG Goal #1. Encourage developers, landowners, <br />and stakeholder to integrate the value of natural resource systems into new developments in all <br />land use categories. <br /> <br />Strategies <br />a.
