Call for Final Assessment Hearing for the 15th Street North Improvements – Resolution <br />2024-095 <br />7. Call for Final Assessment Hearing for Hudson Blvd Improvements Segment A – <br />Resolution 2024-096 <br />8. Approve Contract with Youth Service Bureau <br /> <br />Councilmember Dragisich, seconded by Councilmember Holtz, moved TO APPROVE THE <br />CONSENT AGENDA AS PRESENTED. Motion passed 5 - 0. <br /> <br />ITEM 9: Open Space Planned Unit Development Zoning Text Amendment <br /> <br />Community Development Director Stolpa reviewed updated proposed text amendments based on <br />comments from prior City Council workshops for a general cleanup of the ordinance and new <br />standards for consideration. <br /> <br />Joan Ziertman, 5761 Keats Avenue, commented on buffers and stated opposition to discussing <br />changes outside of the comprehensive plan. <br />John Burban, 9612 57th Street, stated opposition to a drastic increase in density. <br />Mel Eder, 4890 Keats Avenue, stated that code changes aren’t needed. <br />Tony Manzara, 5050 Kirkwood Avenue North, expressed opposition to changes before the next <br />comp plan. <br />George Crocker, 5093 Keats Avenue, stated opposition to the proposed changes. <br />Jane Chars, PO Box 769, Stillwater, asked the Council to think of residents over developers and <br />deny the proposed changes. <br />Councilmember Holtz, seconded by Councilmember Dragisich, moved TO TABLE FOR <br />FORMAL FEEDACK FROM MET COUNCIL. Motion passed 3 - 2. (Beckstrom, Hirn – nay) <br /> <br />COUNCIL REPORTS <br />Councilmember Holtz: Reported on the upcoming Lake Elmo Airport Open House on September <br />14th, 12 – 4 p.m. <br /> <br />STAFF REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />City Administrator Miller: Thanked public safety and public works staff for their work <br />during the recent storms. <br />
