<br /> <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024 -099 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING 2025 PRELIMINARY GENERAL FUND BUDGET, 2025 <br />PRELIMINARY PROPERTY TAX LEVY, AND SETTING PUBLIC HEARING DATE <br />FOR THE 2025 BUDGET AND 2025 PROPERTY TAX LEVY FOR TUESDAY <br />DECEMBER 17, 2024 AT 7:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Lake Elmo is required by State law to approve a resolution <br />setting forth an annual property tax levy to the Washington County Auditor; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require approval of a preliminary property tax levy and <br />a preliminary budget on or before September 30th of each year; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has received the preliminary budget document; <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake <br />Elmo, that the Preliminary 2025 Budget shall be as follows: <br /> <br /> 2025 <br /> Preliminary <br />General Fund Revenues: <br />Property Taxes $ 5,588,958 <br />Licenses and Permit 1,011,995 <br />Intergovernmental 276,320 <br />Charges for Services 623,000 <br />Fines and Forfeits 30,000 <br />Interest on Investments 83,200 <br />Miscellaneous 205,500 <br />Total General Fund Revenues $ 7,818,973 <br /> <br />General Fund Expenditures: <br />General Government $ 1,722,689 <br />Public Safety 4,144,709 <br />Public Works 1,866,576 <br />Miscellaneous / Contingency 85,000 <br />Total General Fund Expenditures $ 7,818,973 <br /> <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday <br />December 17, 2024 at 7:00 p.m.; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, <br />Washington County, Minnesota, that the following sums of money be levied in 2024, for
