<br />M. Modifications or Exceptions <br /> The City administrator may approve exceptions to the plan. These will generally <br />involve internal and labor market equity considerations, salary adjustments, or unusual <br />circumstances and will occur only upon the recommendation of the Administrative <br />Services Director and upon approval of City Council. <br />N. General Provisions <br /> <br /> <br />General Provisions: <br />Nothing within this compensation planpolicy is a guarantee of employment and compensation, <br />and nothing is to be construed as a commitment to continue the City of Lake Elmo <br />Compensation Planolicy for more than one calendar year at a time. All components of this <br />planpolicy are set forth as guidelines to assist in establishing appropriate compensation. The <br />provisions of this planolicy supersede all other compensation considerations.
