Veneklasen visited the site on Monday July 8, 2024 and set up four (4) noise monitors on the proposed project site to capture gun club activity noise. Acoustic data was captured over two (2) separate weekends and several weekdays. Per the code criteria, noise levels were evaluated by hour-long segments. Sounds not attributable to gun club activities (e.g., documented weather events using the Weather Underground website) were omitted from the analysis. Table 2 and Figure 1 below show a summary of the collected noise data attributable to gun club activities as well as an aerial satellite image of the measurement locations. L1 was taken at the property line, L2 was taken at the nearest location of proposed outdoor school activities, L3 is the approximate edge of the 750-foot mitigation area discussed in the previous section, and L4 is the northwesternmost corner of the proposed school building.
