PUD Application Landscape Plan Review | 9450 Hudson Blvd.
2

Tree Preservation: 105. 12. 470
A tree preservation plan has been submitted that meets all requirements and meets the Code
requirements for replacement.
Landscape Requirements: 105. 12. 480
A landscape plan has been submitted that meets all requirements; however, the following
comments should be considered for potential adjustment:
• The City Engineer has requested that slopes 4:1 or greater do not receive irrigation;
however, all landscape materials installed in these areas are still subject to the two-year
warranty and replacement requirements. They may require manual watering to maintain
health and successfully establish if not irrigated. If this is a concern, please adjust the
landscape plans to move this plant material into irrigated areas.
• The hatch pattern at the bench of the southern stormwater pond is unclear on sheet L1.01
and could be mistaken for concrete sidewalk. I assume it is not, since there is already a
crushed limestone walk in a more appropriate location. Clarify this hatch pattern.
Recommendation:
Landscape plans can be approved as submitted, but may be revised as noted above.

Sarah Evenson, PLA (MN)

City of Lake Elmo Municipal Landscape Architect
P: (262) 391-7653
E: Sarah@hkgi.com
