STAFF REPORT <br />DATE: December 3rd, 2024 <br /> Consent <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: Donation to the Fire Department from Cleone Pritchard <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />SUBMITTED BY: Julie Johnson, City Clerk <br />REVIEWED BY: Dustin Kalis, Fire Chief <br />BACKGROUND: <br />State statute requires that cities accept donations via resolution. <br /> <br />ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: <br />Should Council accept the donation of $250? <br /> <br />PROPOSAL: <br />Cleone Pritchard presented the City with a donation of $250 for the Lake Elmo Fire Department. <br />Included in your packet for acceptance as part of the Consent Agenda is a resolution for the Council <br />to officially accept the donation. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br />There is no impact to the 2024 budget as these funds were not anticipated. <br /> <br />OPTIONS: <br />1) Approve Resolution No 2024-125 <br />2) Amend and then Approve Resolution No 2024-125 <br />3) Do not accept the donation <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Motion to approve Resolution 2024-125 <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />• Resolution 2024-125
