2571 <br />734 Minnesota 2020 Standard Specifications <br />2565.5 BASIS OF PAYMENT <br />The Department will pay for new Traffic control signal systems on the basis of the following <br />schedule: <br />Item No Item Unit <br />2565.501 Emergency Vehicle Preemption System lump sum <br />2565.501 Traffic Control Interconnect lump sum <br />2565.502 APS Push Button Station each <br />2565.502 APS Push Button & Sign each <br />2565.502 APS Cabinet Control Unit each <br />2565.502 APS Pole Mounting Adaptor each <br />2565.502 APS Push Button Mounting Spacers each <br />2565.516 Traffic Control Signal System system <br />2571 PLANT INSTALLATION AND ESTABLISHMENT <br />2571.1 DESCRIPTION <br />This Work consists of providing, installing, and establishing trees, shrubs, vines, perennials, and <br />turf of the species, variety, grade, size or age, and root category specified for the locations shown on the <br />Plans, including planting or transplanting plants provided by the Department. <br />Perform this Work in accordance with the Inspection and Contract Administration Manual for <br />MnDOT Landscape Projects (ICAMMLP), current edition at the time of letting. <br />2571.2 MATERIALS <br />A Nursery Plant Stock .............................................................................................................. 3861 <br />Provide plants of the species shown on the Plans in the variety, grade, and size or age indicated. <br />A.1 Investigations and Supply of Planting Stock and Materials <br />By submitting a proposal and accepting Award of the Contract in accordance with 1205, <br />“Examination of Proposal Package and Site of Work,” the Contractor assures commitments from <br />suppliers, and delivery of the plant stock and Materials required to complete the Contract. <br />A.2 Plant Stock and Materials Documentation <br />Provide the following plant stock and Materials documentation: <br />(1) Fifteen Working Days prior to beginning plant installation and establishment <br />Work, provide the Engineer with a Department-preliminary Certificate of <br />Compliance for Plant Stock, Landscape Materials, and Equipment (copy of form <br />provided in the current edition of ICAMMLP) <br />(2) At least five Working Days before plant stock delivery to the Project, provide <br />the Engineer with the following: <br />(a) A copy of a valid nursery stock, dealer or grower certificate, registered <br />with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA), a current <br />nursery certificate or license from a state or provincial Department of <br />Agriculture for each plant stock supplier, or both <br />(b) Documentation certifying that plant Material shipped from out-of- <br />state nursery vendors subject to state and federal quarantines, is free <br />of currently regulated pests, including Emerald Ash Borers, and Gypsy <br />Moths.
