The purpose of this assessment is to work in partnership with the department to <br />align the with best practices, efficient operations, use of technology, and to match the department size with our growing community and service level expectations. In January 2025, the City Council awarded a contract to Raftelis to perform the operational assessment. <br />Raftelis and City Staff have been working together over the last few months to exchange <br />information and discuss recommendations. ISSUE BEFORE COUNCIL: Does the City Council have any additional questions about the Public Works Operational <br />Assessment? <br /> PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: Brian Kirsch and Scott Parker from Raftelis will present their findings and recommendations to the City Council. <br /> <br /> ATTACHMENTS: Public Works Operational Assessment Report
