Lake Elmo City Council adopted the new <br />strategic plan on Tuesday, February 18. The <br />Council, Department Heads, Consultant Staff, <br />and Commission Representatives held work <br />sessions on January 15-16, 2024, to develop <br />both long-term strategies and short-term goals <br />for the organization. The discussion was <br />facilitated by Phil Kern and included long-term <br />vision, organizational values, and <br />expectations, as well as short-term goal setting. <br />From this work, the new strategic plan was <br />adopted. <br />The mission of the City of Lake Elmo is to <br />provide planned, quality public services <br />consistent with the City’s character in a fiscally <br />responsible manner in partnership with our <br />community. The City intends to meet this mission <br />by committing to performance consistent with the <br />following values: <br />Excellence <br />We strive for excellence in everything we do, <br />ensuring the highest quality in the delivery of <br />services.
