The Month of May Proclaimed as Arbor Month in Lake Elmo <br />The City of Lake Elmo has proclaimed Saturday, April 26, 2025, as Arbor Day and May 2025 as Arbor <br />Month in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. <br />Read the Proclamation <br />Thank our firefighters on International <br />Firefighters Day, May 4th, and Every Day. <br />International Firefighters Day, observed on May 4, honors firefighters <br />for their service worldwide. <br />We honor the sacrifice and bravery of every firefighter, remember <br />those who lost their lives, and commemorate the tireless efforts of <br />those who served and protected the United States on 9/11 and the <br />days that followed. <br />New Playground at Kleis Park <br />City Council approved the recommendation for a new playset at Kleis <br />Park, at Jamaca Blvd N and 53rd Street N in Lake Elmo. <br />Public Works will begin removing the current playground equipment <br />on Wednesday, April 23, and prepping the new playground site and <br />asphalt trail in the coming weeks. Installation is scheduled for June. <br />Road Closure: Westbound Hudson Blvd
