<br /> <br />TASK ORDER No. 29 – WATER TOWER NO. 1 DEMOLITION Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />· Conduct Bi-Weekly status meetings with the City’s project manager to monitor <br />progress and address issues. <br />· Periodic on-site construction observation as required by the demolition progress. <br />· Contract administration including review of pay requests and contractor coordination. <br />· Coordinate and issue change orders as necessary. <br />· Provide final inspection of the work and make recommendations for substantial <br />completion, final completion, and acceptance of the work. <br />· Prepare project closeout documentation for official completion of the project, <br />including meeting all regulatory requirements. <br />DELIVERABLES: <br />· Copies of all project and contractor permits required for construction. <br />· Copies of inspection field reports. <br />· Approved monthly pay requests for the duration of the construction for City <br />coordination. <br />· Substantial Completion Punchlist identifying incomplete or non-compliant work <br />required for substantial completion. <br />· Copies of all required project closeout documentation. <br />· Final acceptance letter. <br /> <br />5. City Responsibilities. The city (or its consultants) will provide the following: <br />· Coordination with the public and conduct public meetings. <br />· Presentation(s) to the City Council. <br />· Easement negotiations and acquisition, if needed. <br />· Review of 60% and 90% plans and specifications. <br />· Coordination with small utility companies if conflicts are identified. <br /> <br />TIMES FOR RENDERING SERVICES: CONSULTANT shall perform its services and provide deliverables <br />in accordance with the following schedule: <br />1. April 15, 2025 Council approves selection of Engineering Firm. <br />2. April 22, 2025 Project Kickoff Meeting <br />3. June 17, 2025 Council approves Plans and Specifications; Authorizes Ad for Bids (If <br /> Necessary). <br />4. July 14, 2025 Receive contractor bids/quotes. <br />5. August 5, 2025 Council accepts bids/quotes and awards contract. <br />6. September 30, 2025 Substantial Completion <br />7. December 5, 2025 Final Completion <br />CITY’S REPRESENTATIVE AND CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION: The CITY’s representative with respect <br />to services rendered by CONSULTANT under this TASK ORDER shall be the City Engineer.
