<br />Despite some decreases in existing debt payments, and the removal of the 2010A bond, the addition of the
<br />2025A bond and an increase in the 2017A bond will cause the overall increase in the debt service levy to
<br />be 6.97%.
<br />Utility Funds
<br />The first drafts of the Utility Fund Budgets are attached for review: water, sewer and stormwater. The
<br />Long-Term Financial Plan for Utilities was completed earlier this year. Utility Fund budgets use the
<br />assumptions within that study to project revenues for next year. The plan was to increase rates by 10%
<br />again for 2026 to move those funds toward financial sustainability. Utility Funds do not affect the Levy
<br />(property taxes).
