INVENTORY AND CONDITION ASSESSMENT <br />1)City uses Goodpointe Technology and their ICON Pavement Management Software <br />Program to manage and maintain the street network inventory and condition ratings. <br />2)City wide inventory and condition ratings were completed in 2016 and in 2021. <br />3)Formalized Pavement Management Plan was approved by City Council in 2023, based <br />on the 2021 ratings projected through 2023. <br />4)One of the recommendations adopted in the 2023 PMP is to perform the pavement <br />condition assessment every 4 years to maintain current assessment data. <br />5)A detailed surface condition assessment identifies pavement distress type, quantity, <br />severity, and extent. The condition or PCI is then reported on a scale from 1 to 100. <br />6)The Pavement Condition Index (PCI) methodology is used nationwide and is endorsed <br />by the American Public Works Association (APWA) and has been standardized by the <br />American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM).
