4 <br />Summer 2021 <br />New City Staff <br />Tanya Batchelor, Utility Billing Clerk <br />Tanya has an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and Business <br />Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business <br /> Management. She also has 29 years experience in municipal <br />government as deputy clerk, city clerk, and switched gears <br />to utility billing a year ago. Tanya is excited to be a part of the <br />team at the City of Lake Elmo. <br />Newly Elected City Officials <br />Charles Cadenhead, Mayor <br />Mayor Cadenhead and his family have lived in Lake Elmo <br />for 15 years. Before being elected to serve as Mayor, <br />Charles served as Chair of the Planning Commission. <br />Jeff Holtz, Councilmember <br />My name is Jeff Holtz and I am honored to be serving <br />our community on our city council. We are raising our <br />family here in Lake Elmo because we love the area, <br />appreciate the history, and want to be a part of our com- <br />munity’s future. My priorities are to focus on our shared <br />future by listening, being data driven, and finding solu- <br />tions through consensus. Please reach out at any time <br />if you have a question or concern or just want to chat. <br />Katrina Beckstrom, Councilmember <br />Katrina Beckstrom and her family have called Lake Elmo <br />home since 2017. Prior to being elected to Lake Elmo <br />City Council, Katrina served on the Lake Public Safety <br />Committee for 3 years. <br />Sam Magureanu, Finance Director <br />Sam joined the City as the Finance Director in January <br />of 2021. Sam has worked in Accounting and Finance <br />since graduating from college with a Bachelor’s <br />Degree in Accounting in 2013. Most recently, he has <br />served as the Assistant Finance Director for the City <br />of Stillwater and as a Governmental Auditor for Abod, <br />Eick & Meyers, LLP. “I am excited to for the opportunity <br />to serve the community of Lake Elmo, take on the new <br />challenges, and grow in my career.”
