8 <br />Winter 2013-14 <br />After being postponed a week for extreme cold, a snow- <br />filled sky with temperatures in the high teens made for the <br />perfect evening to hold the first annual Light Up Lake Elmo <br />event. <br />A tree lighting event featuring a visit from Santa, refresh- <br />ments, kids activities, and caroling was held on Saturday, <br />December 14th. <br />The trees, sponsored by local businesses and organi- <br />zations, were lit up <br />throughout New Years, <br />adding a festive am- <br />biance to downtown <br />Lake Elmo for the <br />Holidays.
