<br />FISCAL IMPACT: This change order will increase the contract in the amount of $443,817.79 bringing <br />the revised construction contract to $3,795,423.60. <br /> <br />The amount brings the total project budget over the current grant amount received from the MPCA. Staff <br />has submitted a grant amendment request to the MPCA to cover the increase in cost resulting from this <br />change order. The request remains under review by the MPCA at the time this agenda item was finalized. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff is recommending that the City Council approve, as part of the Consent <br />Agenda, Change Order No. 3 for the Parkview-Cardinal Street and Utility Improvements under the <br />condition the MPCA approves the grant amendment request to cover the increase in costs associated with <br />this change order. If removed from the consent agenda, the recommended motion for the action is as <br />follows: <br /> <br />“Move to approve Change Order No. 3 for the Parkview-Cardinal Street and Utility Improvements, <br />thereby increasing the contract amount by $443,817.79, under the condition the MPCA grant <br />amendment request is approved”. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> <br />1.
