Cyphers Logistic Park AUAR 29 March 2022 <br />wellhead protection areas , but it is adjacent to the Oakdale South wellhead protection area (WPA), see Figure 14. <br />Per the Minnesota Department of Health, the AUAR s tudy area is located in a Special <br />Well and Boring Construction Area (SWCA) due to the known PFAS groundwater contaminatio n at levels that may pose public health risks. As stated by Washington <br />County, “The purpose of a SWCA is to inform the public of potential health risks in areas of groundwater contamination, provide for the construction of safe water supplies, and <br />prevent the spread of contamination due to improper drilling of wells or borings”.
