Cyphers Logistic Park AUAR 32 March 2022 <br />The Metro Wastewater Treatment Plant is the largest waste water treatment facility in Minnesota. The plant is an advanced secondary treatment plant with <br />chlorination/dichlorination. Currently, the plant has a maximum capacity of 314 million gallons per day. During the month of September 2021, the plant had an ave rage flow of <br />160.8 million of gallons per day, which results in an excess capacity of approximately 153 million gallons per day. <br />Table 6 illustrates the anticipated average daily flow rates and peak daily flow rates for <br />each of the scenarios. The public works facility is located in the area <br />north of 34th Street N and there is no immediate plan to hook up the system to the regional sanitary system. At the time of development in the area north of 34th Street N , <br />the public works facility may be hooked up to the regional system, but it is unknown at this time. If Scenario 4 were to be developed, Individual Subsurface Sewage Treatment <br />Systems (SSTS) would likely be installed to serve the rural residential development in the area north of 34th Street N . However, as previously stated, the City anticipates that development of the area north of 34 th Street N will be consistent with either Scenario 1, <br />2, or 3 and that the area will be served by the regional sewer extension and that no other subsurface sewage treatment systems (SSTS) would be developed in the AUAR s tudy <br />a rea. <br />3) If the wastewater discharge is to surface water, identify the wastewater treatment methods, discharge points, and proposed effluent limitations to mitigation <br />impacts. Discuss any effects to surface or groundwater from wastewater discharges. <br />No wastewater discharge to surface waters is anticipated for any of the development scenarios .
