Pebble Park Court improvements also includes updates to two separate electrical panels within the park. <br />The meter cabinet will be updated to include a new meter socket and upright service panel. A second upright <br />service panel will replace an existing panel which serves as a light control for the tennis courts. All tennis <br />lights will be upgraded to LED and include a timer and controller. <br /> <br />FISCAL IMPACT: <br /> <br />The improvements to both Tablyn and Pebble Park have been outlined in the 2023 CIP. In June 2022 <br />commissioners elected to increase the funds by $35,000 toward the improvements of Pebble Park Courts to <br />$120,000. In addition, Tablyn Park Court Resurfacing was also increased from $75,000 to $90,000. Both <br />projects have been combined in to one large project to help attract competitive bidders. This project, if <br />approved will be funded through park dedication funds. <br /> <br />Approval of this agenda item does not commit the council to any project costs at this time. Once bids are <br />received, reviewed and recommended by the Parks Commission the City Council will be asked to consider <br />approving a contract to complete the work. <br /> <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff is recommending that the City Council approving a Resolution approving the plans and <br />specifications and ordering the advertisement for bids for Tablyn and Pebble Park Courts. <br />Staff recommends the following motion: <br />“Move to approve Resolution No. 2023-018 Approving the Plans and Specifications and Ordering the <br />Advertisement for Bids for Tablyn and Pebble Park Courts.” <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br /> <br />1.
