CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP MINUTES <br />FEBRUARY 15, 2023 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Cadenhead called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Charles Cadenhead, Councilmembers Katrina Beckstrom, Jeff Holtz and Lisa <br />McGinn. ABSENT: Councilmember Matt Hirn. <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSIONERS PRESENT: Chairperson Kyle Risner, Commissioners Brian <br />Steil, Micah Vrieze, Thomas Rehkamp and Jim Williams. <br /> <br />Staff present: City Administrator Handt, City Planner Jensen and City Clerk Johnson. <br /> <br />Planning Commission Work Plan <br />The draft Planning Commission Work Plan was discussed. Training opportunities and <br />communication between the Commission and City Council were discussed. Council and <br />Commissioners also discussed recruitment for vacant positions on the Commission and offered <br />ideas for increasing interest in serving on the Planning Commission. <br />Request for Proposals for Purchase of City Land <br />Administrator Handt reviewed the background of the property and noted the challenges the <br />property presents related to the location of sewer connection and topography of the site.
