Background <br />•The City issued an RFP for the Former Fire Station and Parks Buildings <br />on June 17, 2025. <br />•The City received nine proposals and the three receiving the highest <br />scores were determined to be the finalists <br />•The proposals were presented to the EDA RFP Committee and the <br />committee voted to recommend Tap & Ladder/Machete to City Council <br />-- the second and third choices are alternates. <br />•Tap & Ladder/Machete won the majority vote for first place and <br />subsequently a motion was passed unanimously (10-0) to recommend <br />the proposal to City Council.
