PROPOSAL DETAILS/ANALYSIS: Staff has reviewed the County’s Draft 2026-2030 CIP and has <br />prepared comments as outlined in the attached letter for consideration. <br />FISCAL IMPACT: No Fiscal Impacts at this time. However, County improvement projects completed <br />within the City of Lake Elmo often contain cost participation from the City. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Staff is recommending that the City Council approve, as part of the consent <br />agenda, the City comments to be submitted to Washington County regarding the County’s 2026-2030 Draft <br />Capital Improvement Plan. If removed from the consent agenda, the recommended motion for the action <br />is as follows: <br />“Move to approve City comments to be submitted to Washington County regarding the County’s <br />Draft 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Plan with comments to be submitted on or before November <br />7, 2025.” <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />1.Draft City Comment Letter. <br />2.Summary packet of the Washington County Draft 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Plan. <br />3.County CIP Location Map.
