7 <br /> <br />Public Works Building <br /> <br />Staff continue to build out the maintenance plan for the Public Works Building (3445 Ideal Ave <br />N) as well as the buildings at 4259 Jamaca Ave N. <br /> <br />Attached Reports – <br />• PW Building – Summary <br />• PW Building – Detail <br /> <br />Parks Projects <br /> <br />There are currently 37 items in the Parks CIP, most of which is replacement of existing park <br />equipment and facilities. These items were reviewed by the Parks Commission in May and <br />recommended for approval. All projects are funded by the Park Dedication Fund. <br /> <br />Some of the projects are labeled simply “New Park Pavillion” without a location. This denotes a <br />plan to replace one pavilion per year, with the actual location being determined by condition and <br />need. <br /> <br />Attached Reports – <br />• Parks – Summary <br />• Parks – Detail <br />• Park Dedication Fund (404) – Funding Sources & Uses <br /> <br />Infrastructure Projects <br /> <br />This subset of projects includes Street, Water, Sewer & Stormwater Projects. <br /> <br />At the July 1, 2025, City Council Meeting, City Engineer Jack Griffin presented, and the Council <br />adopted, an updated Pavement Management Plan that briefly outlines the planned Street <br />Improvements, which include reconstructions and reclamations. <br /> <br />Street improvement projects are planned tentatively for the next 10 years. The final timing of <br />projects is dependent on street condition, project costs, available funding, and other factors. <br />“Street Improvement Projects” are typically done by neighborhood and a portion of the project is <br />assessed to homeowners for a 15-year period. It is these projects that will sometimes have a <br />segment in both Street and Water, as discussed earlier. <br /> <br />Other street projects include collector streets that serve more of the city as a whole and may not <br />have as many assessments, or they could be County-led projects with a required City <br />contribution. <br /> <br />The list of Utility (Water, Sewer, and Stormwater) projects includes a mix of repairs or <br />replacements of existing facilities, expansion or new facilities to address growth and/or PFAS <br />pollution, and contributions to developments to ensure proper sizing of new infrastructure. <br />
