CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION NO.2025 - 084 <br />RESOLUTION SETTING THE 2026 PROPERTY TAX LEVY <br />AND ADOPTING VARIOUS 2026 BUDGETS <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lake Ehno is required by State law to approve a resolution <br />setting forth an annual property tax levy to the Washington County Auditor; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes currently in force require approval of a property tax levy <br />and a budget in December of each year; and <br />WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, December t6, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. <br />NOW THE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, <br />Washington County, Minnesota, that the following sums of money be levied for collection in 2026 <br />upon the taxable property in said City of Lake Ehno for the following proposes: <br />2026 Lev <br />General Le <br />$ 6,300,000 <br />Debt Service Levy <br />3,417,785 <br />Capital Levy <br />1,780,000 <br />TOTAL LEVY <br />$ 11497 785 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is hereby authorized and <br />directed to transmit this information to the County Auditor of Washington County, Minnesota and <br />the Minnesota Department of Revenue, if applicable, in the format requested as required by law. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, that <br />the following budgets are hereby adopted as shown in attached 2026 Budget & Tax Levies Book; <br />• 2026 General Fund (Fund 101) Budget <br />• 2026 Debt Service (Funds 323 - 335) Budgets <br />• 2026 City Center Capital (Fund 403) Budget <br />• 2026 Fire Equipment & Project (Fund 407) Budget <br />• 2026 Street Maintenance (Fund 408) Budget <br />• 2026 Infrastructure Reserve (Fund 409) Budget <br />• 2026 Vehicle & Equipment (Fund 410) Budget <br />• 2026 Ballpark Fund (Fund 412) Budget <br />• 2026 Water Fund (Fund 601) Budget <br />• 2026 Sewer Fund (Fund 602) Budget <br />2026 Stormwater Fund (Fund 603) Budget <br />• 2026 Water Capital Fund (Fund 611) Budget <br />
